Delivery

Robertson Timberkit offers a standard delivery programme for timber frame self-build projects. However, if your delivery requirements call for flexibility, Robertson Timberkit will work with you to meet your needs.

Our standard timber frame delivery programme is as follows:

1. One day before we deliver your main timber frame, we will deliver your floor joists and roof trusses to your site, ensuring that none of the fast-build time advantages that using a Robertson Timberkit offers are lost.

2. Sole plate and timber frame wall panels will then be delivered to your site by our dedicated fleet on the morning of the date agreed. Our years of experience in timber frame mean we load our delivery trucks in a way that the material you need to use first is placed at the top of the load, to avoid you having any unnecessary handling.

3. Next you will receive your windows and external doors. This will be followed, on an agreed date, by roughings, such as plasterboard and chipboard materials and insulation.

4. The final aspect of delivery involves the finishings package, which includes items such as stairs, internal door sets, skirtings and facings. These are delivered when the basic timberkit shell is at a clean and dry stage to preserve their quality and appearance.
