Robertson has honoured four staff members who have each achieved 25 years continuous service with the Elgin based infrastructure, construction and support services group.

Michael Glennie and John Meichan from Robertson Timberkit and Peter Ross and Derek Masson from Robertson Northern were acknowledged for their dedication at a formal dinner at Glen Moray distillery on Friday 4 June 2010. The event was attended by each of men's wives, Robertson directors and senior management.

All four gentlemen received an engraved watch and a specially commissioned photographic portrait of themselves.

John Meichan was Robertson's original apprentice in 1966; he left the business in 1973 but rejoined again in 1985.

Bill Robertson, Executive Chairman, Robertson said: "Michael, John, Peter and Derek have demonstrated fantastic commitment and loyalty to Robertson over the last 25 years. All four of these gentlemen are at the heart of our business, their dedication and that of their colleagues has helped to develop our business throughout the years. We recognise that our people are our greatest asset and I believe that this policy has fostered a highly-skilled and motivated workforce.
