Six employees who have clocked up 150 years service between them were recently awarded for long service by Robertson.
Willie Stobbo (41), John Donnelly (55), Les Work (61) and Sandy Florence (66) were each presented with a commemorative watch for 25 years service by Robertson executive chairman Bill Robertson during an evening ceremony at Glen Moray Distillery. A further 2 employees Rob Roy (54) and Neil Ross (42) were unable to attend the evening, but will be presented with their watches at a later date. All employees work for Robertson Northern, with the exception of Neil Ross who works with Robertson Timberkit.

During the evening which consisted of a celebratory dinner and reflected on Robertson anecdotes from the past, the employees were praised for their role in the development of the Robertson business. The company started out as a jobbing joinery business in Elgin and now consists of three separate operating groups working in construction, investment, development and facilities management, across the UK and Ireland. The business now comprises 12 autonomous companies and directly employs over 1000 people.
Bill Robertson said: "We have always placed great importance on finding the right people throughout the development of Robertson. We recognise that our people are our greatest asset and I believe that this policy has fostered a highly-skilled and motivated workforce.
Frank Reid, Managing Director for Robertson Northern, added: "Each of the men who received long service awards has demonstrated fantastic commitment and loyalty to Robertson. Their dedication has helped to build long-standing relationships with clients. This has gone a long way to creating customer satisfaction and repeat custom. Each of them fully deserves this recognition."
