Fletcher King Howard, Travelodge Blackpool

In line with their ambitious growth plans, Travelodge required an efficient build programme to help limit construction time on site and maximise room revenue. Therefore timber frame became the obvious choice for this 4 storey structure, located in the busy South Shore area of the seaside town. Each bedroom featured substantial sound proofing to minimise acoustic travel and thick external timber walls to enhance the thermal properties.
